The issue of Nyamira Refferal Hospital gate scandal has been resolved.
Governor Nyagarama and a section of the Executive members are currently appearing before the Senate PAC committee to answer on audit queries raised by the Auditor General for the 2015/16 financial year.
According to the Senators, there shouldn't have been the audit query in the first place because the project covered several aspects of works.
The Auditor General was convinced that there was no amount of money wasted in the construction of the Nyamira County Hospital gate confirming that the project was well executed within the stipulated budget and to satisfaction.
In the same sitting, West Mugirango CDF manager Wilson Okumu clarified that NG-CDF hasnt funded Oruaki Dispensary for the last three years thus clearing the air on the alleged double funding by the County Government of Nyamira.
Governor Nyagarama was accompanied by the CECs who were mentioned in the audit queries among them Douglas Bosire (Health) and John Omanwa (Public Works).
