Speaking on Radio Citizen on Friday, the ANC member noted that the alliance originated from the party, adding that the Musalia Mudavadi-led side still believes it can realise the alliance’s manifesto.

He said that the stand will remain, regardless of the other member parties’ moves, stating that ANC will retain the alliance name in the event that the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) and Ford-Kenya exit.

‘’Sisi ndio tulibuni huu muungano kwa hivyo hata wenzetu wakiondoka sis tutabaki. Bado tuko na maazimio yale yale ya super everything, super youth and a super nation (we formed the party and will remain in it. We hold on to our initial ambitions),’’ said Muluka.

This, however, comes at a time when Ford-Kenya under Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has since announced its exit, with the Senator lamenting over betrayals by the alliance chief and opposition leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking in Mtwapa, Kilifi county on Monday, the former Senate Minority Leader said that the party will now concentrate on preparing itself for the 2022 general election, claims Muluka has laughed off, saying that all the 4 member parties remain part of the NASA formation.

‘’Kuondoka NASA sio kwa matamshi tu, lazima waandikie maspika wa bunge zote na msajili wa vyama vya kisiasa na hadi sasa hicho hakijafanyika (the party is yet to formalise its exit and remains a part of the alliance),’’ he added.
