Bomariba Sub-location football league is tightening up after a stiff competition being witnessed from the seven participating teams.

In the second match played on Wednesday, Igonga FC dismantled Miranga FC 2-0 in a match played at Igonga playing ground.

 Alfred Aroni and Joseph Ongori scored for Igonga FC in first half's 20th and 35th minute while Miranga FC players attempts bore no fruits. Opponents had a better defense.

Miranga FC coach Momanyi Omwansa said his players lacked concentration something that made them to loose the game to the 'weak' team.

"I have good boys playing well. I can confirm that we lost to Igonga FC due to lack of concentration on the bitch. Going forward I will ensure my team wins the match. We must compete and win the Sh10,000," he stated.

In the first match, Boisukia FC beat Nyamwobo FC 3-1. 

The seven teams participating in the league are; Miranga FC, Igonga FC, Bogitocho FC, Nyamwobo FC, Boisukia FC, Nyabiosi FC and Raganga FC.

The league was launched by the area assistant chief Benjamin Ayuma who said the aim of the league is to keep youths busy and eradicate drug abuse.
