Just hours after the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) summoned a number of politicians from the North Eastern region to appear before them on Monday February, 25, 2019, questions are now emerging on their role in creating the scandalous content.

Eldas MP Aden Keynan, his Fafi counterpart Abdihakim Mohammed and the Isiolo Woman Representative Rehema Jaldesa have been summoned to appear before the DCI to record their statements over allegations of uttering defamatory statements against Wajir Woman Rep Fatuma Gedi over an unverified sex video that went viral in November 2018.

Preliminary investigations conducted by the DCI sleuths in December last year led to the arrest of a video editoreditor.

However, he was later cleared of the charges due to insufficient evidence.

While presenting the suspect before a Kiambu court then, the investigating officers revealed that they would be narrowing down to a number of politicians from Wajir who were thought to have sponsored the viral pornographic content.

Amid the developments, the said politicians have been castigated for explicitly exposing one of their own for selfish interests.

The four should tell law enforcement officers what they know about the scandalous video.

In tatters is the reputation of a legislator.

She deserves justice.
