Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior now wants Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to work closely with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kilonzo says Kenyatta is the only person who can influence and support Kalonzo’s 2022 presidency.
In an interview on Milele FM on Tuesday, the Makueni senator asked Kalonzo to be wise and reach out to leaders who are likely to support his 2022 presidential bid.
The senator said Kalonzo will lose out if he does not partner with the right leaders.
“My advice to our party leader Kalonzo is for him to reach out to President Kenyatta and seek his endorsement,” Kilonzo said.
He said 2022 could be Kalonzo’s opportune chance to ascend to the presidency.
Kilonzo noted that the former Vice President has the qualities of a president if given chance in 2022.
He said the Wiper leader has an international repute and will successfully lead the war on graft and other evils if elected in 2022.
The Makueni senator said they are ready to rally for Kalonzo’s presidency in 2022.
Kilonzo, however, called for Ukambani unity saying it will see the region ascend to power.
Kalonzo is among top politicians who are eyeing to succeed presidency Kenyatta in 2022.
The Wiper leader has hinted on working with like-minded politicians as he seeks the top seat.
