Kenneth Muguna and Joash Onyango are missing in training after being demoted from captaincy slots.

The duo played for the national team against Mozambique and never reported to training at Gor Mahia.

“No…I haven’t heard anything yet from [Muguna and Onyango] yet but anything can happen on [Monday], maybe they might get in touch but I don’t know,” Polack told Goal.

The absence has angered their manager Steven Polack. However, he said he is ready to discuss with them and make an informed decision.

“Let’s see, we will sit and chat them down, I am a very open-minded person when it comes to players, and you know I need to listen to why they were not here and then we can go from there," he said.

Another missing player is defender Maurice Ojwang. He has not attended training since the international break concluded.

“[Maurice] got injured when we played in the last game against [Zoo Kericho] but again he is another player who is yet to report to training nor explain his absence,” Polack told Goal.

The poor discipline is worrying the coach and has promised to act. The confusion was evident as Gor Mahia struggled to win against Kariobangi Sharks.
