Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has linked Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho and his Nairobi counterpart Mike Sonko to drug trafficking.
In a series of tweets on Wednesday, Miguna alleged that the two have been destroying the lives of innocent youths.
He claimed that they have risen to become powerful because of the illegal business.
He also said religious intervention will not change anything while referring to Prophet David Owuor of the Repentance and Holiness Ministry.
"Mr @MikeSonko and @HassanAliJoho are some of the worst and most inhuman drug dealers in Kenya. They emulated Escobar and El-Chappo and have hooked millions of innocent youth to illicit drugs before parading fake "rescues" and PR stunts to show off their ill-acquired wealth.
“Those who believe that the drug menace @MikeSonko, @HassanAliJoho and other drug paddlers have created in Kenya can be solved by Dr. David Owuor or Nigerian voodoo should not waste our time. I dare @MikeSonko and @HassanAliJoho to sue for defamation! Go on!” he tweeted.
He also blamed President Uhuru Kenyatta, ODM Leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President Williams Ruto for what he termed as tolerating drug barons. He alleged that the trio has failed the nation as far as the fight against the drugs is concerned.
“Nairobi and Mombasa are in a total mess because Uhuru Kenyatta, @RailaOdinga and @WilliamsRuto mortgaged them to drug dealers in exchange for campaign money from drug trafficking. We must liberate them as we liberate Kenya through fearlessness, truth and concrete plans!’ he said in another tweet.
