At a rally in Gusii stadium later, Maangi insisted that he's in ODM to stay further complicating his situation.
Months to 2017 polls, Maangi had declared governorship on Jubilee ticket before bowing out.
Later, he reunited with Governor Ongwae and the two secured their second term in office.
With Simba Arati having declared gubernatorial interests, it's unclear whether Maangi will finish the journey with Raila or Ruto.
