A list of popular musicians on YouTube in Kenya has been released.
The list shared by one of the artists Willy Paul on his Instagram account, Saturday, reveals the top 5 artists in the country with the highest subscribers.
Here's the list according to Willy Paul's post;
1. Willy Paul Msafi
Wilson Abubakar Radido popularly known as Willy Paul Msafi was ranked number 1 in the list.
The controversial artist tops with 402K subscribers and 81 million cumulative video views.
2. Sauti Sol
Sauti Sol is a Kenyan afro-pop band formed by vocalists Bien-Aimé Baraza, Willis Chimano and Savara Mudigi in 2005.
The band was listed second with 355K subscribers. However, it has 103 million accumulative video views, more than Willy Paul's.
3. Otile Brown
Jacob Obunga popularly known as Otile Brown is a Kenyan independent R&B singer, songwriter, guitarist and actor.
He took third place in the list of popular YouTube channels with 31Kk Subscribers and 72 million cumulative video views.
4. Nyashinski
Born Nyamari Ongegu, Nyashinski is fourth in the list with 246K subscribers and 45 million cumulative views.
5. Bahati Kenya
The youthful Kelvin Bahati, a gospel artist has also been doing great in the music industry.
His YouTube channel is ranked at number 5 with 240K subscribers and 48 million cumulative video views.
