The daughter to Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho's brother Abubakar Joho, on Friday, March 8, wedded in a colorful ceremony attended by prominent politicians including Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga.
Abubakar Joho famously known as Abu Joho is the elder brother to the governor. He is a successful business man at the coast.
Abu's daughter Kulthum Abubakar Joho wedded her lover Haikal Omar Osogo in a Muslim wedding referred to as Nikah.
The wedding was held at Musjid Ummu-Kulthum in Kizingo, Mombasa.
Several invited politicians who attended the colorful wedding included Raila Odinga, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi, and Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho among others.
"The Rt. Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga my colleagues H.E Amason Kingi, H.E Mike Sonko and other leaders joined my family in celebrating the union of my niece Kulthum Abubakar and the love of her life Haikal Omar Osogo. As you turn over a new leaf in your lives, I wish you years of happiness, love, and joy. May Allah bless you. Mabrook Alf Mabrook," Joho shared a message for the newly-wed couple.
