During the tour, Uhuru was impressed by students from an unidentified Primary school from the region when they performed a rap song in praise of his administration.

The head of state could not hide his joy when he clapped alongside the children as Deputy President William Ruto looked.

The soloist made Uhuru smile for a moment when she dropped a few lines of her rap song hailing the current government.

“Ma mpaka ma mpaka mpaka ma, Uhuru ni mnoma kwa majina naitwa Fatuma, Rais wetu kweli ni mnoma, unatupea wote heshima, 2017 Jubilee ndio inasema,” chanted the young girl.

Uhuru was very impressed to the point that he hugged the young girl after completing the rap song.  During the tour, Uhuru urged leaders to unite in order to transform the economy of this nation.

The commander in chief of the armed forces, who is completing his second and final term, assured Kenyans of his commitment to implementing the Big Four Agenda before he leaves power.

“I call upon all of us to work towards building our nation and to promote peace and unity among ourselves. There is no greater legacy we can leave for our children than that of a unified and peaceful country, “he said.
