The Head of State must be very humble even though he carries with him the image of the nation and wields all the powers contained in the constitution.

Even if castigated and condemned by area leaders, some of whom have remained opposed to him or want a number of issues addressed, an outburst would be the worst idea.

That could revoke the feelings of the people who were opposed to him in the last election, and will come out as not fully transformed even as he calls for national accord.

It could also result to protest by the supporters of the leaders who could even walk out on him, leaving him embarrassed and humiliated.

He must also try to address all the issues raised by area leaders who represent the people, failure to which he might not receive a good reception next time.

The latter is yet to clear his name over the 2017 post election skirmishes which followed his reelection, and not addressing the matter will show that he doesn't care about a section of Kenyans.

He will also have to address as many gatherings and roadside rallies as possible.

This will help him redeem himself in the eyes of the people and show that he is willing to reconcile with his former critics.

Failure to this, opposition chief and his new friend Raila Odinga who has been calling upon people to come out in large numbers to welcome him will also be left looking bad for calling them out to watch him pass by.

Finally, Uhuru must know that this is one of the regions that can give or deny him his much needed legacy and a poor conduct  will obviously throw it back to the opposing side.
