Governor John Nyagarama, just like his thirteen or colleagues, had to adjust his schedule on Saturday morning following State House call by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Hours after a chaotic county dialogue forum hosted by Egesa FM, Nyagarama has reportedly planned to address the issues of contention along with speaker Moffat Teya at Ekerenyo grounds during Mashujaa Day celebrations.
But Uhuru, through his handlers, summoned all Lake Region Economic Bloc governors to Kakamega where the national government is hosting the event.
"Honestly his diary was disrupted because he was to address a few issues from Friday's botched dialogue at Kebirigo.
"But die to State House call, he had to quickly adjust and move to Kakamega. This means that he will have to host another forum some day soon," said George Momanyi, a protocol officer.
President Uhuru Kenyatta will be presiding over Mashujaa Day celebrations, the first of its kind in Western Kenya at Kakamega.
On Monday, Uhuru will also join all Lake Region Economic Bloc governors at Bomet for an exhibition conference apart from Migori's Okoth Obado who is in Industrial Area prison for the alleged murder of Sharon Otieno.
With Nyagarama's deputy Amos Nyaribo hospitalised in India over kidney problems, it means that at Ekerenyo, County Commissioner Isaiah Naikoru will be incharge.
