Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has hit out at Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) for threatening to march to the offices of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
In a post on his official Facebook page, Nyoro said ODM has already sensed defeat hence resorted to underhand tactics to remain relevant.
He asked its party leader Raila Odinga to advise their candidate Imran Okoth to pull out of the Kibra by-election ahead of the D-day to avoid any form of humiliation.
The MP who is a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto exuded confidence that former footballer turned politician McDonald Mariga will beat Imran hands down.
He also argued that the writing is on the wall and reminded ODM not to wait until it is too late before they can start running up and down giving excuses.
"The usual cry babies are back in town with their usual ranting of "IEBC this, IEBC that". They should pull out their candidate if Baba's bedroom is too hot. We are winning Kibra and politics of poverty is coming to an abrupt end next Month. The like of Junet and Mbadi must read clearly the writings on the wall and accept reality. We are African and Africa is our Business," Nyoro posted on Facebook.
The Kibra mini-poll billed as a battle between Raila and Ruto is scheduled for November 7.
