The county boss was earlier in the month directed not to set foot in his offices, owing to an ongoing court case, for fear that he could interfere with evidence and witnesses.

Speaking on Saturday, the former Ruiru MP hopeful mocked the county chief over his woes, likening his tribulations to a demotion from the position he won in the 2017 polls.

He added that the said demotion comes as a win for all Kiambu residents, also declaring full support for Deputy Governor James Nyoro who has since announced a takeover.

"Kiambu now has a governor named Nyoro. We have demoted the other one from Nairobi (Kiambu sasa kuna gavana anaitwa Nyoro, huyu mwingine wa kutoka Nairobi tulimshusha)," he said.

The vocal leader made the remarks on Radio Jambo's Mazungumzo Waziwazi show, which was also attended by Makadara MP George Aladwa and politician Brian Weke.

He further hit out at Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko with whom he has been involved in a verbal fight following Sonko's revelation of the late Kibra MP Ken Okoth's private life and his secret lover.

Mwaura noted that he won't stop his attacks on the county boss, adding that no amount of intimidation will stop him.

"I will not leave you alone until you begin serving the citizens. And we wont be scared even if you bring us goons (Mimi sitawachana na wewe until ufanyie watu kazi. Na sisi hatuogopi hata utuletee goons)," he added.
