WCB Wasafi record label's CEO Diamond Platnumz has revealed his record label signed two new artists, a male and a female.

Recently, through Twitter, Diamond said he was eager to hear the new signee's first song.

"Signed the new artist today.....!!! I can't wait for the world, to hear another WCB_Wasafi voice from the street," the Bongo star tweeted.

In a recent interview, Diamond told journalists that he had signed two more artists but had not unveiled them.

The 'Kanyaga' hitmaker could not reveal the exact date the unveiling will be done.

Diamond said that the ongoing Wasafi Festival has taken all entertainment attention in Tanzania which will disadvantage the new artists if unveiled in the same period.

"As poor people, we believe in getting blessings by helping each other, we have signed two more artists, a male and female and I believe people will like them. If we start unveiling them they won't get the attention they deserve due to the ongoing Wasafi Festival, everything stops when Wasafi Festival kicks off as far as entertainment is concerned.(unajua bwana mimi sikufichi sisi watu wa kimasikini na baraka twasipata tukisaidiana tukishikana mikono wenyewe kwa wenywe. tumesign wasanii wengine wawili, msanii mmoja wa kike, mwingine wa kiume na naamini watu watawapenda.Tukianza kuwatoa sahi tutavuruga, hawatapata attention kwa sababu ya Wasafi Festival ina makelele sana.  Wasafi Festival ikifanyika shughuli zote nchini hazifanyiki, labda za serikali lakaini sio entertainment, tukiwatoa sahi tutawahiribia) said Diamond in a YouTube video.

WCB Wasafi currently enjoys huge followers from Kenya and East Africa at large. Their musical projects have been doing great in the country.

More than once, their songs have been trending at number one on YouTube Kenya.

Some great talents at the label include Harmonize aka Konde Boy. He was the second to join Wasafi after the founder Diamond Platnumz. Rayvanny is another big name at the label. Others are Lava Lava, Diamond's step-sister Queen Darlin, and Mbosso Khan.
