Several Arsenal players have reacted moments after Unai Emery, their outgoing coach was sacked because in what appears to be the team's dismal performance in their last seven games, setting the worst record in the past 27 years.

Some of the players who reacted include;

1. David Luiz

Arsenal's defensive midfielder took to Twitter to congratulate Unai for his good work and also apologised for letting him down in the past matches.

''Sad day for everybody, especially because we let u down Boss, sorry!! Thank you and the amazing staff for everything!! You are a hard worker, passionate for football and a big example always doesn’t matter the results! Good luck for the future!@UnaiEmery_," David Luiz's tweet reads

2. Alexandre Lacazette

The Frenchman also took to Twitter to wish the outgoing coach good fortune wherever he is heading to.

"Not always easy when someone has to leave the club. But, I want to thank the coach and the staff for everything and wish good luck for the future," his tweet reads. 

3. Hector Bellerin

The Arsenal's fullback said he was so sad to see the coach going. Unai had helped him when he was facing injuries.

''Whatever has happened in these last few weeks, I'm very sad to see @unaiemery_ and his staff go. Thank you so much for your trust and lessons at this time. You've helped me grow as a man through a tough period with my injury. Wish you all the best,'' Bellerin's tweet reads.
