After the funeral, an insider from Capitol Hill says, Raila took his helicopter and landed at Kisumu International Airport ahead of Uhuru, who drove on road from Koru, Muhoroni.

But just when he was about to get off from Kisumu, Uhuru had a brief chat with Raila and they both left immediately from the Airport to undisclosed location.

His Aide-de-camp, just like many other security officers who ride with him, were left stranded at the airport with the president only leaving with his official driver.

"Yesterday President Kenyatta shocked his aides when he delayed his return back to Nairobi for nearly 4hrs and spent time in undisclosed location in Kisumu.

"President arrived at the Airport at around 5Pm ready to take off to Nairobi but changed his mind and left accompanied by Raila Odinga, with only one Security officer he left his Aide De Camp at the airport. The President later left Kisumu at 2103pm," the source said, adding that he may have attended a meeting organised by Raila.

In the company of the president was Kisumu Deputy Governor Mathews Owili, standing in for the ailing Governor Anyang Nyong'o, who remains indisposed at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi.

While what they discussed remains anonymous, the three drove without traffic officers supervisions and disappeared to thin air. The meeting lasted for five hours even as the presidential jet remained on.

On Sunday, President Uhuru Kenyatta's brother Muhoho Kenyatta joined Raila Odinga in Bondo for the 25 anniversary of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, as the handshake politics took another level of blossoming.
