Federal agents arrested popular singer R Kelly in Chicago over 13 federal charges.
He was picked up by federal agents on Thursday night over child pornography and other counts of crime.
According to the assistant United States attorney for the Northern District of Illinois Mr Joseph D. Fitzpatrick, Mr Kelly was also arrested for enticement of a minor and obstruction of justice.
On Friday, he was arraigned in court in Chicago awaiting to be taken to New York to faces the charges in undisclosed time.
This is not the first time Mr Kelly is being accused of such crimes as back in 2008, he was accused of child pornography among other sexual misconduct.
He got accused of having sex and even urinating on an underage girl in a leaked 27-minute sex tape.
The 52 years old has a stream of cases lined up against him concerning the sexual abuse of underage women.
However, R Kelly has more than once come out to deny all the charges against him.
In an interview with Ms King during her “CBS This Morning" show, R Kelly cried on live cameras denying what he has been accused on.
“I didn’t do this stuff! This is not me!” he said with tears in his eyes.
His career has been flourishing even with endlessness charges facing him.
