Speaking at Kyaani in Mwala, Machakos County on Sunday, Muthetheni MCA Jeremiah Munguti said the residents should prepare for anything.

Munguti said whatever decision the Supreme Court will give, the residents should accept and embrace it.

"The Supreme Court decision is final and residents should stop getting excited and be calm if the court decides the incumbent to continue ruling, then be it but if we are told to go back to the ballot let everyone do it wholeheartedly," Munguti said.

He urged the residents not to create enmity amongst themselves due to politics which are seasonal.

Munguti said whoever will win the case should be prepared to lead and serve the people without fear or favor.

He said the Machakos county assembly is prepared to work with whoever will take over the seat.

"Whoever will be declared governor, we will be more than ready to work with him/her since its all for the benefit of the people of Machakos," Munguti said.
