Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria took to social media to warn Kenyans against a man accused of conning unsuspecting Kenyans using his name.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, the vocal MP asked Kenyans to remain vigilant in a bid to avoid falling victim to the tricks used by the alleged conman.
Kuria posted the man's photo with a message asking Kenyans to report the man to the police if he attempts to con them.
“There is this guy who has been conning people with fake stories of how he is close to me. If he tries some hanky-panky games on you report him to the police," posted Kuria.
In a picture shared on various social media platforms, the alleged conman can be seen standing next to Moses Kuria.
The photo is of a past event believed to have been taken during last year’s campaign period.
