Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho was on Friday hosted by Royal Military Barracks of the Greenwich Borough, Greater London.

Accompanied by a delegation led by Changamwe MP Omar Mwinyi, former Kisauni MP Rashid Bedzimba, County Assembly Speaker Ahrub Khatri, Advisor Suleiman Mwaguya among others, Governor Joho left the country for London, United Kingdom where he met Mayor Royal Borough of Greenwich and Labour Councillor Representing Middle Park and Sutcliffe Ward, Christine May on Thursday.

During the visit at the Royal Military Barracks of the Greenwich Borough, Joho said the historical connection between Great Britain and Kenya is well preserved in the area with artillery displays and collections with Links to Lamu and Tana River counties of the Kenyan Coast. 

"I look forward to closer ties with Greenwich Borough, Greater London especially in shared heritage and tourism," said the governor.
