James Otieno, who of late has earned another gaming title Mr. Multibet, is a known gambler in the campus.

Otieno, a third-year student at Ruiru Campus, placed his 'sure' bet after a well-informed homework basing on well-known analysts. His bet was France to win with over 2.5 goals, both teams to score but first half to end with under 1.5 goals.

The bet was almost right, France won the final with 4 goals, Croatia also did not fail him, it scored two goals. Unfortunately, first-half results disappointed him. It ended in 3 goals, failing his under 1.5 scores.

Otieno who never bet with less than Sh1,000 had placed a bet with a stake of Sh2,100 and was to win Sh54,935.

"Huyu msee alinisho sure bet itakuwa both teams to score, then France to win the match, mi nikaekelea ju bets zake mingi huwa ni ndani.

"Kumbe yeye mwenye alitaka kuwin pesa mingi akaeka first half under 1.5 goals," said said David, Otieno's close friend.

My source said Otieno could not wait the to watch the second half of the match after suffering a defeat in the hands of the betting company.

"I was shocked to see him leaving before second half could even start 'nasikia msee anasema acha nichil EPL ianze, nitarudisha doh yangu in one weekend' as he walked out," added David.
