Fafi MP Abdikarim Mohamed suffered the wrath of Kenyans on social media after saying he shared a fake sex video of a woman alleged to be Wajir Woman Representative Fatuma Gedi.

Mohamed took to Facebook to defend himself against accusations that he was involved in the fake sex tape linked to Gedi that was leaked online.

In the post, the MP said he shared the sex video after it was already leaked online by unknown people and was doing rounds online.

Mohamed said that Gedi asked him to send the clip to her which he did, adding that sharing the sex video that was already in the public domain does not make him culpable of anything.

The unverified intimate video of a woman alleged to be the Woman Rep was doing rounds on social media platforms when it was released on December 19.

The Facebook post by the MP did not go down well with a cross-section of Kenyans on social media who launched a scathing attack against him.

A number of Kenyans online questioned why a member of parliament is busy sharing sex videos while others said he should not be having any explicit content on his phone.

Other Kenyans called for his arrest saying that he should be arrested and charged for sharing pornographic content.
