At Bukhungu stadium, for the first time Ruto addressed Raila as 'Prime Minister' and assured that he will support the peace process initiated by the two leaders.

"I want to assure you Mr. President and Prime Minister Raila that I am supporting the peace process initiated by the two of you. We do not want political enmity to divide us along tribes.

"Let us unite all Kenyans irresistible of where they come from. This is the only way we can serve our people," said Ruto.

The DP has been aiming missiles at Mr. Odinga, who was on Saturday appointed as AU High Representative for Infrastructure, with his lieutenants suspecting foul play in handshake.

In fact, Ruto has also been portraying Raila as a leader hungry for power, accusing him of plotting to change the constitution for his own gains.

And Uhuru, whose speech focused on legacy, warned politicians against politicising his partnership with Raila, adding that he's focused to foster peace.

"Those moving around politicking about our partnership (with Raila), should find something useful to do. We must end politics of hatred," he said.

A section of Ruto's allies have been moving around the county accusing Raila of wrecking Jubilee from inside, a move which Ruto had said would never succeed.

The DP had said: "You chased me away from ODM but I don't think you will succeed in Jubilee."
