The block constitutes counties from former Western and Nyanza provinces along with those from North and South Rift.

Over the weekend, the caucus , through Nyamira speaker Moffat Teya, asked Sauti Kuu proprietor Auma Obama to allow the governors meet the former president.

"The organisers started making the programme in April and we were a little bit late. It is unfortunate that he is not going to meet Western leaders.

"We have talked about it and it will be difficult for him to squeeze his itinerary for the governors. Maybe we shall try some other time," he said.

Obama, the 44th US president, will be making his fourth return to Kogello village on Monday for launching of Sauti Kuu Foundation, started by his sister Auma Obama.

Notably, Obama is accompanied by over 300 dignitaries mostly from entrepreneurial world and business.
