However, she ended up stranded and could not work from her office and ended up briefly using an office next to the county clerk's before leaving the assembly.

This comes at a time when her office remains empty after vandals descended on it last month, and destroyed the furniture, apparently in a bid to keep her off.

This comes in the backdrop of her fight with Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) who have repeatedly made it clear that they do not want her to lead them.

The fight began in November last year, culminating in her impeachment but has always found reprieve in the Labour and Relations County which has ordered her back in office.

As she sat in the office working on her laptop, Edwin Kakach who is a member of the Speaker's panel was chairing a committee meeting in the chambers.

Apparently frustrated, the Speaker refused to comment and have her photos taken by he media and only told them to report what they could see in her office before leaving.

“I have no word for journalists today. You can only report what you are able to see here,” she was quoted by the Standard.
