Controversial Kenyan singer Akothee has revealed why she stopped sending nude photos.
The mother of five took to Instagram to advise her followers on the importance of keeping secrets.
“Never be angry with someone who leaked your secret, if secrets were easy to keep you would have kept it yourself,” read the message on the photo she posted on Instagram.
She went ahead to reveal in the caption of the photo that was the reason why she stopped sending nudes.
“That's why I stopped sending nudes. I post them myself,” said Akothee.
This comes only a few days after explicit photos of Kenyan actress Ella Ciiru were leaked on the internet.
The TV queen recently came out to reveal on her Instagram account that the person who leaked her photos was someone she once trusted.
Although there is no direct connection between the two celebrities, it is believed that Akothee may have directed the message to Ciiru since the former posted the message on nudity almost immediately after the later revealed on her Instagram that she was being blackmailed.
Akothee who has in the past come under attack over her dress code is known for being outspoken.
