14 people were killed on Sunday night after the bus rammed into a trailer carrying cement that had stalled on the road.

More than 15 people were rushed to Garissa Referral Hospital after sustaining serious injuries.

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) said preliminary investigations had revealed that the driver of the trailer had not placed any warning signs on the road to alert oncoming motorists that there was a stalled vehicle on the road.
