A blood-thirsty gang ambushed a family in Litein and killed a 73-year-old woman before raping her three daughters.
The three girls are admitted at the Litein hospital.
According to reports by the police, the victims of the attack said four armed men gained access to their house through the window on Tuesday night.
They attacked a 73-year-old man of the house injuring him before proceeding to his wife.
Using a blunt object, they hit her and killed her.
They then terrorised the couple’s three daughters raping them in turns.
The four attackers also robbed the man Sh5000 and a mobile phone before vanishing.
Irked residents held demonstrations in the area Wednesday morning as news of the brutal murder spread across the village.
Hillary Kipkurui said the area has been experiencing insecurity for long and their complaints have been ignored.
“We are calling on Fred Matiang’I to come to our rescue. Another couple was murdered last year and no one has been arrested, where are we going to find security now?” Kipkurui said.
