In a video shared on Facebook by Daily Nation, Sunday, Uhuru said he gets angry because of what some politicians have been doing.

In an apparent reference to Deputy President William Ruto's allies, the Head of State said he's not concerned about tomorrow but what happens today.

"I get angry when I see stupidity. When you see how some leaders are doing and talking you wonder if they are living in Kenya. We do not want to hear about tomorrow. (Nakasirika nkiona ujinga. Ukiona vile wengine wanafanya na vile wanaongea unashindwa kama wananishi Kenya hii. Hatutaki ya kesho jameni, tuambie ya leo)" Uhuru said in the video.

The president has been asking leaders from different parts of the nation not to engage in politics at the expense of development.

He has been pleading with leaders to ensure they work diligently during his remaining term in office before they can embark on his succession.

A few days after the launch of the BBI report, Uhuru hit out at politicians initially opposed the initiative but have been pushing for the implementation of the report through the parliament.

The manner in which he addressed the matter led to a section of media pointing out that he (Uhuru) was turning into an angry, irritable president.
