A motion by Starehe MP Charles Njagua alias Jaguar that seeks to lower retirement for public servants from the current 60 years to 50 has sparked sharp criticism online.
According to the law maker, reducing retiremnt age by 10 years will be a viable move that will see unemployed youths get jobs.
However, it has emerged that if Jaguar's motion sails through the National Parliament and is implemented by the government, about 25,000 public servants risk being sacked.
A section of Kenyans on Social Media have expressed mixed reactions over the motion and its potential consequences.
