Noor, while condoling with families who lost loved ones in the terror attack, asked security agencies to hunt down planners of the terrorist act.

Speaking to journalists when she toured Ijara Town on Friday, Noor said that terrorism must be confronted and its perpetrators brought to book.

She said that there is no room for terror activities in the country and across the globe, adding that those propagating it must be smoked out and punished.

“The government security agencies must dig in and smoke out all people who participated in planning the Dusit attack,” the MP said.

Noor also asked Kenyans to unite and support the government in the fight against terrorism.

Noor said that terrorism does not know religion.

In taming terrorism, the MP asked the government to increase surveillance on the border with Somalia, sensitise Kenyans on ‘Nyumba Kumi’ security initiative and end youth radicalisation, especially in Northern Kenya.

Police have intensified investigations into the Dusit terror attack.

On Friday, a magistrate court sitting in Nairobi granted investigators 30 days to detain five suspects who were arrested in connection with the Dusit attack.

The five suspects are Guleid Abdijakim, Joel Ng’ang’a Wainaina, Oliver Kanyango Muthee, Gladys Kaarti Justis, and Osman Ibrahim.#hivisasaoriginal
