Popular Kenyan musician King Kaka on Wednesday released a song dubbed 'Wajinga Nyinyi' that sparked mixed reactions among Kenyans.
The song which is addressed to Kenyans faulting them for making wrong decisions by voting in the wrong leaders and pitching tribalism during elections at expense of leaders who never care about them.
However, on Wednesday evening, the musician took to Instagram where revealed that he was going to pull down the video until a number of issues were addressed.
"Taking the video down. Until a few things are sorted," read a post on Instagram.
King Kaka did not, however, go into details as to what issues needed to be addressed. The song was yet to be pulled down from YouTube at the time of the publication of this article.
Reports, on the other hand, indicated that the musician had claimed his life was in danger after releasing the song.
In the song which addresses the problems that Kenyans go through in the hands of bad leaders, King Kaka called out a number of top politicians who were involved in corruption cases.
King Kaka revisited the National Youth Service (NYS) scandal in which Kirinyaga County Governor Anne Waiguru was involved in.
Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko was not left out as the musician highlighted how the City Stadium has been under renovation for 3 years.
Kiambu County Governor Ferdinand Waititu was also called out as King Kaka pointed out how the governor's daughter allegedly has millions of money in her bank account.
Other musicians who have hit the limelight for releasing songs that highlighted bad leadership include; Nyanshiski, Eric Wainaina, Juliani and Kenyan boyband Sauti Sol.
