Abdullahi still believes all is not lost after the apex court handed him a shocker by overturning the decision of the Court of Appeal that nullified Abdi’s win.

On Wednesday, the ex-governor, through the law firm of Nchogu, Omwanza & Nyasimi Advocates, opted to seek legal redress once more over the matter.

He argued that he is not convinced with the ruling delivered on Friday.

“Every decision of a Court of Law should, at the very least, accord with logic and reason,” he said, as quoted by Daily Nation.

During the ruling at the Supreme Court, Chief Justice David Maraga and Justice Isaac Lenaola had pointed out that the court could not verify a university degree of the incumbent governor after IEBC cleared him to contest.

They also said that a degree is a requirement for one to contest for the post of the county boss.

Justices JB Ojwang’, Smokin Wanjala, Mohamed Ibrahim and Njoki Ndung’u had overturned the ruling of the Court of Appeal and allowed the incumbent to continue holding office.
