This was after the picture was posted on the United States of Kiambu Facebook group by former Kiambu Town MP aspirant Njenga Wa Mabati.

Mr Njenga on Thursday posted Ichung’wah’s photo with the caption: “One Word.”

Residents were quick to answer with some adhering to Njenga’s one word rule while others going ahead to give their responses in sentence form.

Ichung'wa who was elected unopposed in last year's election, publicly supported President Uhuru Kenyatta's proposal to cut the VAT on petroleum products from 16 per cent to 8 per cent.

Speaking outside Parliament building on Thursday, Inchung'wa who is the Chairman of the Budget and Appropriations Committee reiterated his support for the VAT on fuel.

“We are saying the government needs to raise taxes for us to be able to offer the goods and services that we have promised the people of Kenya. There is no Kenyan who is saying they don’t want to pay taxes. They want to pay taxes and see value out of those taxes,” said Ichung’wa.
