Joseph Mutua aged 45 was found with bhang packed in 400 grams and 20 rolls.

The incidence was confirmed by Machakos town senior chief Joshua Kimeu.

He said that the man has been selling bhang in Katheka Kai and Kenya Israel areas in Machakos town constituency.

Kimeu noted that he was able to arrest the suspect with the help of Nyumba Kumi officers after a tip-off from members of the public.

"We found him with his bicycle selling the bhang with the help of nyumba kumi members who have accompanied me we were able to arrest him," said Kimeu on phone.

He said the suspect was handed over to the police at Machakos police station and will appear in court on Thursday.

Kimeu observed that he will do what it takes to ensure drug abuse comes to an end in his location.

He warned those involved that they won't escape the long arm of the law.

"The man had no other job other than peddling bhang, I want to issue a warning that anyone who knows he or she is involved in selling drugs should know I'm soon coming for them," he said.
