The bad blood between former US president Barack Obama and his brother Malik Obama played out again on Monday during his visit to his ancestral in Kogelo, Siaya county.
Malik's wife Sheila Onyango was reportedly denied access to Mama Sarah Obama homestead before the arrival of the former US Head of State.
"There is very limited access and the wife of Malik Obama was denied entry when she tried to access the compound," said Citizen TV reporter Sam Gituku.
In the past, Malik has openly criticised Barack accusing him of ignoring his family and having less interest for Africa as a continent.
"President Obama is my brother and I love him but he is a hypocrite. He wants nothing to do with Africa despite campaigning on the platform of helping to transform her,' said Malik.
