Ichungwah is part of the Jubilee politicians allied to Deputy President William Ruto that has been questioning Raila's truce with president Uhuru Kenyatta lately.

Speaking on Saturday, he rubbished the parliamentarian's claims that Raila is a threat to the party, saying that he actually has his personal reasons to viciously attack Raila.

Weke who doubles up as a lawyer claimed that Raila's entry has cut the flow is some goodies Ichungwah and team used to get from the government, hence the bitterness.

"Kimani anaumwa kwa sababu Raila ameharibu mipango. Hapo mbeleni hata angeita ndege ya jeshi kwa simu lakini sasa haiwezekani (he is bitter because Raila's entry has complicated things for him)," said Weke.

He was speaking on Radio Jambo's Mazungumzo Waziwazi political show Saturday morning.

On his side, Ichungwah claimed that Raila is out to complicate things in the party, and is already using the truce to fight some figures with an intention of killing the party.

"Tunaona ameanza kupiga watu walio nyuma ya Rais. Hizo ndizo siasa zake (he is already at work and is busy trying to fight some persons within the party)," said the MP.

He is part of the Jubilee faction that has aligned itself behind Ruto's 2022 presidential bid and has repeatedly declared his support for the DP's 2022 presidential bid.
