Ndeti said she is not at war with Muthama as some of the media outlets have been reporting.

She said they are in good terms with Muthama, noting that what they may have as differences are small issues.

Ndeti said she respects the former senator,  adding that they are working together as Wiper party members.

"The notion that Muthama and I  are not seeing eye to eye politically is false because we are together as Wiper team," Ndeti said.

She spoke at a funeral in Matungulu, Machakos County on Thursday.

Ndeti said they are united under the leadership of Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

"Those things you are hearing in the media do not add up, what matters is Wiper unity," Ndeti said.

Muthama and Ndeti fell out and reunited days to the August 8, 2017's general election.

The former senator opposed the Wiper's decision to endorse Ndeti as the party's  Machakos gubernatorial candidate in 2017.

Muthama drummed support for former Machakos Deputy Governor Bernard Kiala to fly the Wiper's Machakos gubernatorial ticket.

In the recent days, there have been reports that Muthama and Ndeti have fallen-out in regards to the anticipated gubernatorial by-election in Machakos should the Supreme Court dismiss an appeal filed by Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua challenging the Court of Appeal's decision to nullify his victory.

Muthama has been quoted saying he does not support former EALA MP Peter Mathuki deputizing Ndeti in case of a by-election in Machakos.

Muthama claims that Mathuki is not fit to deputize Ndeti hence Wiper party should pick Kiala as Ndeti's running mate in case of a by-election in Machakos.

He has even vowed to contest for the gubernatorial seat in Machakos if Wiper fails to hid to his advise.

Last week during the burial of Muthama's aunt in Tala, Kalonzo asked the former senator and Wavinya Ndeti to bury their political differences.

Kalonzo pleaded with the two politicians to drop their hard political stunts and work with other leaders in pushing for unity in the county.

Ndeti is getting ready for a by-election in case the Supreme court dismisses  Mutua's appeal and directs for a gubernatorial poll as had been earlier ordered by the appellant court.
