She visited the dilapidated Mangororo Primary School in Ganze constituency, where she made her contribution towards the construction of new classes.

Jumwa, on Ganze MP Teddy Mwambire's invitation, donated 100 bags of cement, 300 pieces of iron sheets and 50 desks after photos of the school which is in bad shape emerged online.

"This afternoon I paid a courtesy call to Mangororo Primary School on the invitation of the area MP Teddy Mwambire of Ganze Constituency, where I donated 50 desks, 100 bags of cement and 300 pieces of iron sheets," Jumwa wrote on Facebook.

Jumwa called upon area leaders and well-wishers to come on board and lend a hand in bettering such institutions, stressing on the need for united efforts.

She further said that she has taken it upon herself to foster unity among area leaders which will, in turn, lead to development.

"I am focused on delivering development programmes that unite and empower Kilifians. I also appealed to everyone to reject the politics of division and disunity that can derail our development agenda in Kilifi county," she added.

This comes hours after photos emerged showing pupils at the school sitting on stones in a flooded classroom.
