Gor Mahi fan Christopher Mutinda, who lives in Nairobi, is the latest winner of Sportpesa Mega jackpot after he correctly predicted the outcome of 16 out of 17 games.
Mutinda, who is a software engineer, says he is an occasional gambler and did not quite expect to win such a huge sum of money.
“I have no regrets because I staked Ksh100 and won all this money which is a very good gift in my opinion,” said the self-employed software developer said when he spoke to the media.
He is an ardent Gor Mahia fan and is happy that the team is on the verge of winning another Kenya Premier League title.
He feels they have what it takes to beat Everton, in a Sportpesa-organised friendly match.
“I love Gor Mahia because of the good things they are doing for this country. It is a very talented team with a good coach and great teamwork. They could actually beat Everton,” Mutinda said.
Mutinda was also joined by other bonus winners, who won as much as Sh5 million, slashing the figure that stood at over Sh175 million.
