Popular comedian Eric Omondi has impressed Kenyans on social media with his creativity in a new advertisement video.
The popular comedian who is known for producing parody videos comically painted a picture of how a conversation about milk would be in a Congolese home.
“A normal conversation in a Congolese household,” Eric Omondi captioned the video.
The video stars three characters; a father (Eric Omondi), his wife and their son. Eric Omondi returns home to find someone has used his milk. He then asks the son who had drunk his milk but the son denies drinking it. The comedian then turns to the wife who admits that she used the milk to prepare tea and vegetables. All this while the conversation is taking place in the form of a Lingala song.
What impressed many besides the simplicity of the storyline was the musical flow of conversation among the characters.
A good number of celebrities were moved by the video. The comment section was full of comments from verified accounts. Among the celebrities who took to the comment section to express their excitement were; Ommy Dimpoz, Ben Pol, Kalekye Mumo, Eddie Butita, Dj Sadic, Caroline Mutoko, Mwana FA, Nick Mutuma, Massawe Japanni, Kartelo, Suzanna Owiyo among others.
The video has gained more than 220,000 views within 24 hours.
Eric Omondi transitioned from full-time stand-up comedy to focus on online content production. He is mostly known for producing parody videos.
