Kiambu County Governor Ferdinand Waititu has come out to defend his family against the corruption scandal against them.
In a video, the county boss has hit out at his critics. He defended his wife and daughter against the corruption case against them.
According to Waititu, he has a right to register his company under his daughter's name or even his wife.
"You know people are spreading rumors every day saying that I am being sort after, who is looking for me and am here right now? People should know this, I am ready if they find me with a mistake to be taken to court and answer like any other men. People who are saying that I have registered my company under my children, men like me when you have children you register them companies."

He further blasted his critics who spread rumors that he steals from the county. He asked them to provide evidence at the EACC, where a corruption file was opened against him but no one dared to present evidence.
The county boss is being sought after by the detectives from the EACC after the DCI gave an order to arrest him in connection with his Sh588 million tender allocation.
