A political alliance could be in the making between former Jubilee Party Vice Chair David Murathe, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama if Murathe's latest hint is anything to go by.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, the former Gatanga parliamentarian hinted that the three of them are working on something.

He wrote that better things are coming, backing it up with a photo of the three of them at an undisclosed location and completing it with the 'Kitaeleweka' tag, a group of anti-Deputy President William Ruto politicians sworn to crush his 2022 presidential bid.

"Better things in the offing #Kitaeleweka," Murathe wrote on Facebook.

This raises the question; is the trio working on something? Considering that the group consists of persons opposed to the DP, especially Murathe who has since announced that he will take it upon himself to see to it that Ruto fails.

Kalonzo is, on the other hand, a possible contestant in the race, basing on his previous declarations, meaning that he already considers Ruto his rival and would gladly join a team that would help him scuttle his plans.

Muthama has also for long been an ally and a close confidant of the former Vice President and a vocal anti-Ruto campaigner.
