Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i is lazy and unfit to continue serving at the crucial government position, Richard Onyonka has said.
In an interview at Radio Maisha on Monday, the Kitutu chache South MP said Matiang'i has failed to transform the police force.
"Matiang'i has become lazy after he was appointed to serve as the Interior Cabinet Secretary because insecurity is at peak in this country and excess police killings," he said.
According to the MP, Matiang'i's decision to rush in changing police uniforms can't help in addressing insecurity in this country.
He pointed out that in Nyamira County alone, cattle rustling is still ongoing and Matiang'i has failed to curb it.
"Cattle rustling at his home turf is still ongoing and he can't do anything about it. As a community we can't celebrate anything because Matiang'i has not helped in any way," he added.
