Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen has thrown his weight behind France to win the FIFA 2018 World Cup trophy.
The Les Blues qualified to the Sunday's final after demolishing Belgium 1-0 in last night thrilling encounter courtesy of Samuel Umtiti who scored through a classic header in the second half.
With his favourite team Brazil out of the tournament, Murkomen chose France since it has 'African' players.
"I have decided to go with France," the Elgeyo Marakwet tweeted on Thursday.
The Didier Deschamps-managed team will either face England or Croatia who face off tonight in the second semi-final.
And having colonized Kenya and other African countries, Murkomen hoped England to beat Croatia and qualify to the finals where 'Africans' (France) will have a chance to 'revenge' by winning the world's most coveted trophy.
"We need England in the finals then people of African descent will surely win the World Cup," he posted.
After all the African teams were eliminated from the tournament, France has been termed as the 'last African team' in the World Cup.
This is because it is dominated by dark-skinned players who have African roots.
They include; Paul Pogba (Guinea), Samuel Umtiti (Cameroon), Kylian Mbappe (Cameroon and Algeria), Ngolo Kante (Mali), Ousmane Dembele (Mali), Blaise Matuidi (Congo and Angola), Steven Nzonzi (Congo) among others.
