The firebrand politician came forth with his guns blazing, faulting Wiper Party Patron Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka for betraying him

Omar, who has since gone missing in action in the political scene, said that Kalonzo and Former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga were traitors for backing Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho in the contest for the gubernatorial seat.

Omar insisted that Kalonzo was backing Joho yet he was the candidate for the party. He went on to say he was not going to vote for Raila and Kalonzo because of the micromanagement of the affairs of the alliance.

"I will not give him my vote because he (Raila) never supported me (in the governorship race) and neither did Kalonzo," Omar said.

He also said that he was moving to court to challenge Joho's win.

Omar further pointed out that he felt there is no need to continue associating with Kalonzo yet he never wanted to support him for the seat. He claimed that he knew from the start that Kalonzo was backing Joho.

"I do not want to hang around with someone who does not want me."
