The suspects' proverbial forty days came to an end at Kayole village.

Trouble started after residents complained of harassment and house breakages by two people.

Matters were made worse as it emerged that one of the suspects known as 'Machete' due to a large dual shaped panga that he carried was behind a spate of sexual harassment targeting minors.

In the village, residents were living in fear, as the suspects had devised new ways of waylaying their victims, bringing the economy of the area to a near standstill.

And Monday afternoon, motorcycle operators joined residents in a door to door search of the suspects and were found in one of the houses as they were about to have their lunch.

According to a witness Steve Mwangi, the two suspects have been a thorn in the flesh for many, making Kayole estate a ghost town.

"All motorcycle operators were involved in the operation where police were not informed of what was going and when we got the two, we decided it was time for them pay for their deeds," Mwangi said.
