Speaking at Bobasi area in Kisii County, Arati said if no action will be taken officials in government will continue looting public funds.

“Kenyans need to be told the truth about the looming corruption at Interior ministry which is being led by Matiang’i.

"Some powerful officials in the ministry are looting money to use in the 2022 campaigns but Matiang’i is doing nothing about it,” he said.

He claimed that a powerful politician from Gusii region is looting public funds and giving to politicians to campaign for him ahead of the 2022 elections.

“Kenyans have a burden to pay taxes to the government while some few individuals are stealing the money to use them in the campaigns.

"President Uhuru should be careful to ensure officers in government who engages in corruption are dealt with accordingly to ensure no tax payers’ money goes into a waste,” he said.

Arati said the rate at which officials in government are stealing public funds is worrying and an urgent measure is required failure to which Kenyan will continue suffering paying taxes which end up into people’s pockets.
